The ST5133 is a PCIe 4.0 switch-based expansion solution designed for servers, workstations, and high-density computing environments. Built around the Broadcom PEX88096 PCIe 4.0 packet switch, it consists of three components that work together:

Switch Host Adapter Card — A PCIe 4.0 x16 to 6-Port SlimSAS SFF-8654 adapter with an onboard PEX88096 switch chip and active fan cooling. It plugs into your motherboard's PCIe 4.0 x16 slot (upstream) and provides six SlimSAS outputs (downstream).
Six 0.7m SlimSAS SFF-8654 Cables — High-quality shielded SlimSAS SFF-8654 cables that carry the PCIe 4.0 signal reliably over a distance of 0.7 meters (27.5 inches).
Three Dual-Port Daughter Cards — Each 2-port SlimSAS SFF-8654 to PCIe 4.0 x16 daughter card bonds two SlimSAS links back into a standard full-size PCIe 4.0 x16 slot, with a 4-pin power connector for stable power delivery.
